Kristyna – Head Bartender & Executive assistant

Kristyna Velova is returning to us for a second season and we couldn’t be happier.
Kristyna was born in the Czech Republic in 2005 and attended high school there.

To start earning some money and have the chance to be around all kinds of people, she started working in the restaurant industry at 15, alongside her education. She discovered a great passion for bar work in both small and large restaurants.

Kristyna is incredibly efficient and creative, while paying enormous attention to detail. She is responsible for all drinks orders as well as cashing up at the end of the day in the Blue Wave restaurant. In urgent matters, she stands in when manager Simona is absent. 

Along with her summer job of 2025, she has fallen in love with Corfu.

Hobbies: travel, Greece, animals – especially her dog BRITTANY and her cat FRANKIE (who also happens to be our Blue Wave “security cat”)
