Juan Pablo – Assistant Chef

We warmly welcome Juan Pablo Robert Mendoza to our team for the 2026 season.

Juan was born in Argentina in 1987 and went to high school there. Since graduating, his career has taken him all over.

In Mendoza (Argentina), he started out as a waiter in the highly regarded restaurant «La Marchigiana». Seasonal work then took him to Europe, where he still spends time working every year. And when he flies home for a few months in between, he is regularly employed as a waiter in the grill restaurant «La Cantina de Impsa» – as he has been since 2017 – as well as, since 2023, for the private driving service «Cabify».

Juan Pablo has also been employed in Copenhagen (Denmark) as a construction worker on a new metro station, in Dublin (Ireland) as an assistant chef at «Arnott's» and in Mallorca (Spain) as an assistant chef at the «Tapas y Mas» restaurant. Since 2024, he has been working as a seasonal chef at restaurant «Die Gute Luise» and at the «Adler Lounge» in Tyrol (Austria).

Hobbies: swimming, snorkelling, growing plants, reading, learning languages and playing music

Languages: English, Spanish and Italian
